More and more professional athletes around the world are using hot yoga to help them prepare and recover for the sport. Premiership Footballer Ryan Giggs, Elite Mixed Martial Artist Jonny Hendricks & Tennis Ace Andy Murray have all been quoted
stating the benefits of Hot Yoga in the media,

Working in a heated room elevates heart rate which makes the body work harder. The body burns more fat during the class subsequently speeding up the body’s metabolism and helping with the breakdown of glucose and fatty acids. Sweating promotes detoxification through the skin helping in the removal of waste products from the body. Just as when your body raises its temperature to fight infection, the raised temperature in the room will assist in the proper functioning of your immune system helping conditions such as asthma.

Going to hot yoga once a week is awesome and will make you feel calmer and less stressed but it won’t dramatically change your body. Going 3-4 times a week will aid weight loss, build strength, improve balance and flexibility creating relaxation to the body, peace to the mind and a smile to your face!

So really it becomes a question of not whether you’re going to go to Hot Yoga in Standish but WHEN!
